After months of conversations, quoting, scheduling, and working through the finer details, we’re proud to say that AMS Pressure Washing has officially completed a major project at Ashby Bar & Bistro.

Landing this job was a significant milestone for our team. Ashby Bar & Bistro is also connected to The Gate alongside The Brook. While we haven’t quite completed the trifecta yet, this project has opened the door to future opportunities and package maintenance plans across their venues.

Going the Extra Mile

At AMS Pressure Washing, we believe in building relationships, not just completing jobs.

Although it wasn’t part of the original scope, we also trimmed back the surrounding bushes before getting started. It’s not every day we offer landscaping services, but our director is a regular at the pub and has built a great relationship with the manager over the years. Sometimes it’s the little extras that make all the difference.

The Process

To bring the outdoor concrete back to life, we carried out a complete exterior clean and restoration, including:

• Trimming back overgrown bushes around the work area.
• Blowing down all pathways to remove leaves, dirt, and loose debris.
• Pressure washing the concrete using both our rotary surface cleaner and pressure washing wand to achieve a deep, even clean.
• Applying two coats of Hardtop ASB Premium Concrete Sealer.

Hardtop ASB is a premium-grade co-polymer concrete sealer that combines acrylic resins, UV stabilisers, and aromatic solvents to create a durable protective coating. Once cured, it leaves a rich wet-look gloss finish that not only enhances the appearance of plain and coloured concrete but also provides long-lasting protection against the elements and everyday wear.

The transformation speaks for itself, with the concrete looking cleaner, richer in colour, and ready to withstand years of foot traffic.

Built to Last

With the two-coat Hardtop ASB system, the concrete should remain protected for at least five years under normal conditions.

To keep the surface looking its best and maximise the lifespan of the coating, we recommend professional pressure washing twice a year. Regular maintenance removes dirt, grime, organic growth, and contaminants before they can damage the sealer, helping the gloss finish continue to shine year after year.
